Our catalog for "Much more than a gift" for the Xmas gift drive of 2009 is ready!!!! Like every year, all gifts in the catalog are hand made and fair trade products from Nepal, having been produced in workshops that treat and pay their workers with dignity, do not employ child labor and choose the most environmentally safe approaches.

The sale of these items in Spain and else where, is part of the strategy Sathi Sansar-World Friend supports for the development of Nepal. It aims to make citizens aware that other trade is possible, a trade that is socially responsible and able to provide affordable everyday products. The full benefits of the sale of these products return to Nepal to fund projects that Sathi Sansar- World Friend (www.sathisansar.org) implements in this country. In this way it promotes the country's domestic economy, generating income for the completion of our non-profit projects and promoting community awareness about another reality.
