- Support to Orphans and disadvantaged Children.
1. Special Education Center for Children with Cerebral Palsy
Center aimed to children'is treatment; it is llocated in the outskirts of Pokhara, a city surrounded by the Annapurna Mountain Range.
Objectives:
- To offer integral rehabilitation: specific physiotherapy, psychomotor re-education, reeducation of dyspraxia and dysphasia, speech therapy, orthopedic and reeducation of daily activities.
- To offer a suitable environment in which social integration is promoted.
- To make the centre a reference point in Nepal for management, education and information about Cerebral Palsy.
- To train Nepali staff (specialised in the field of physiotherapy, special education and occupational therapy) aimed at the treatment of physical and psychical disabilities.
- To develop and carry out a programme of epidemiologic surveillance, with the purpose of locating and identifying chiildren with Cerebral Palsy resident in the area.
- To get the acknowledgement of the organisation inside the Nepali government as part of a national program in order to receive state financing and support from international organizations.
- To open a permanent children’s refuge and an occupational center

2. Home Assistance Program
In many cases, reduced and complex mobility, combined with the distance to the center and the lack of infrastructure, makes unfeasible the attendance of many children to the center. This program allows to widen the services of the center, transferring some of the professionals to the children's homes. In this context, the main objective is not the assistance to the children, but the transmission of knowledge and skills to the parents.
Objective:
- Free training for families of Cerebral Palsy afflicted children in the area of Pokhara and remote areas of the district through home assitance, to boost the active educational role of parents (home-based rehabilitation).

3. Community awareness
Community awareness mostly means teaching about causes, symptoms and treatments of Cerebral Palsy in order to approach the situation of the affected children to the community.
There are two specific objectives concerning awareness:
- To develop and carry out community programs to decrease the social stigma handicapped children suffer.
- Prevent the incidence of these disorders in the community.

4. Professional Training
Sathi Sansar, along with the Self Help Group for Cerebral Palsy in Katmandu (an organization with 20 years of experience and considered a reference center in the country), has undertaken the professional training of therapists and teachers to treat Cerebral Palsy.
The center acts as the training center for new professionals. It also admits university students of physiotherapy to do their intership about Cerebral Palsy treatment.

5. Support to Orphans and Disadvantaged Children
Children Welfare Home is an entirely apolitical secular Nepali organization which tries to offer protection to orphans, disadvantaged children or in dysfunctional families in Nepal.
Sathi Sansar-World Friend contributes to the schooling of these children through educational sponsorships.
